After few sneak and peaks, Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam 2 is being planned for February 2014 release on Valentines day. Apparently, makers have sold out Kerala and Karnataka rights for fancy price.

Being the joint production venture of Aascar Films and Balaji Motion Pictures banners, Kaleeswari Films has bought Vishwaroopam 2 distribution rights in Kerala while Ganesh Pictures will theater the movie in Karnataka.

Unlike its prequel, Vishwaroopam 2 is reported to be a family entertainer with Kamal Haasan, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah and Waheeda Rahman in the lead roles. M. Ghibran has composed the music and background scores for Vishwaroopam 2 and makers are yet to finalize audio release date.
