Sripriya directed Malini 22 Palayamkottai has been censored and cleared with a U certificate. The film produced by Sripriya's husband Rajkumar is all set for release January end.

Malini 22 Palayamkottai stars Nithya Menen in the title role while Krish J. Sathaar and Naresh play supporting roles.

It is a remake of the Malayalam film 22 Female Kottayam (2012) by Aashiq Abu and has music by Arvind-Shankar.
