Meera Jasmine, who was said to be ‘going steady’ with Mandoline exponent Rajesh, is said to have been engaged to an industrialist hailing from her home State of Kerala.

Sources close to the diminutive actress say that the marriage has been fixed to be solemnized in a Church in Kerala on the 12th of February.

The news of the marriage could only mean that Rajesh and Meera have decided to part ways. Hailing from Kerala and an actress who is popular in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu film industries as well, Meera debuted in Tamil films through Lingusamy’s Run opposite Madhavan and went on to star in films such as Sandakozhi and Bala. After a long hiatus, she plays the lead role in VTV Ganesh’s Inga Enna Solludhu.

Meera and Rajesh didn’t hide their affair and were spotting hanging out with each other at many places. Meera was a regular visitor at many of Rajesh’s concerts. However, reports emanating from Kerala say that Meera has been engaged to marry Anil John Titus, a software professional from Trivandrum.

The marriage is said to be an ‘arranged marriage’ and has the full consent of Meera.
