We all remember the famous Deva for his excellent rendition of Gaana songs in the 90’s. Now, the composer has lent his voice for a song in Maan Karate starring Sivakarthiyan and Hansika in the lead role. Directed by Thirukumaran, this film has Anirudh as the music director.

Says the film’s music composer, Anirudh, “We were looking for a different voice for the climax song of the film, and remembered Deva sir. His voice has been used for many superhit songs in the 90s and I thought it’d be refreshing to hear it again. He immediately agreed, and we (Deva and I) recorded the number recently. It will be a gaana song with a difference.”
