It was officially announced that Suriya and Venkat Prabhu will be coming together for a mega budget film that will be produced by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green.

Inside sources said that Suriya was apparently pleased with Biryani and gave a go-ahead to Venkat Prabhu to work on a detailed script. It is learnt that the Singam star would commence shooting soon after he completes his present film with Lingusamy.


Director Venkat Prabhu is reportedly working on the script for the Suriya starrer that he is to direct from mid-2014 onwards.

When enquired about the film being titled Kalyanaraman, Venkat Prabhu said that the film is still in the initial stages and the title has not been decided yet.

It may be mentioned here that there are reports of the film being made in 3D format, but the director declined to comment on it as it was too early to discuss such issues publicly.

Meanwhile, Suriya is starring in Lingusamy’s Anjaan and will be sporting a very stylish get-up in the film.
