Thala Ajith's Veeram has set the box office on fire, The movie has already amassed record collections in Chennai Box Office for the opening weekend with Rs 3,04,23,392 which was very close to the collection of Kamal Haasan's Magnum Opus Vishwaroopam which was Rs 3,06,40,10.

The Director of this blockbuster Siva credited Ajith, the movie's script and his Producer for the movie's success and revealed that he has been flooded with offers to do a Bollywood remake of Veeram. Siva also added that two Bollywood stars have also shown interest and with certain modifications in nativity it would work.
