In a new attempt, composer Dharan and lyricist Madhan Karky have come up with a ‘punch song’ that will feature in Gokul’s Aaha Kalyanam.

This song, the lyrics of which are made up of popular punch lines mouthed by namma actors, has been picturised on the film’s lead pair — Nani and Vaani Kapoor.

A source close to the film tells us, “This is probably the first time in Kollywood that a song has been composed that will feature punch lines delivered by stars — Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Ajith, Suriya, Vikram, Simbu, among others. The song starts with Thala Thala…., and continues with Naan Nanban Da, All Is Well (for Vijay).”

Some of the other lines include Kooti Kazhichu Paaru Kanakku Seriya Varum (Annamalai), Ongi Adicha Ondra Tonne Weight (Singam), Neenga Nallavara Kettavara (Nayagan), My Name Is Billa, Chitti The Robot (for Rajinikanth), Naan Thani Maram Illa Thoppu (Citizen) and Idhu Anbala Serndha Koottam (Padayappa). The song ends with Rajini’s famous line-Naan Oru Dharava Sonna Nooru Dharava Sonna Madhiri. The source adds, “Karky has woven all these lines into finely flowing lyrics, and the song has been sung by reality show winners Nivas and Manasi. It will feature towards the climax and will be a typical massy number.”
