"I've put my heart and soul into this project and I think we have come up with a quality product," said the director. Nimirndhu Nil is apparently about how, a very simple and calm man, brought up in a very orthodox background, is chased by the society, when exposed to it. Jayam Ravi plays the lead in Tamil and Nani in Telugu. "Both Jayam Ravi and Nani are like my brothers. Not only their dedication will be evident in the film, but the same will take the places," praises Samuthirakani.
Sarath Kumar appears in an extended cameo in the movie and according to the director, he will rule the screen, for the 20 minutes he appears. The director also picks Lion as the best metaphor to explain the charisma of Sarath Kumar.
Soori, on the other hand is apparently not just a comedian. "He has done a critical character in the movie and I'm sure that each and every dialogue of his, will draw heavy applause," Assures Samuthirakani.
GV Prakash is currently working on the background scores and talking to us, he said, "I'm half way through already. I'm currently working on the second half of the movie." Ask him about the product as a whole, he says, "Nimirndhu Nil is a movie with a strong social message and every one of us can relate to the film. Everyone will love the film."
