Isai, which is set to mark the comeback of the Creator and Director in S.J.Surya after Eight years in Tamil is gearing up post production work.

If reports are to be believed, director-actor SJ Suryah is planning to release his upcoming film Isai on May 1^st, 2014. One of the blockbusters in his career, Vaali, which had Ajith in the lead, was released on this day some years ago to coincide with the hero’s birthday.

Suryah has completed the shooting of Isai, which is based on the life of a musician, and is now busy with the post production work. He is aiming at the May Day release and will confirm it with an official announcement very soon, say sources.

S.J.Surya this time takes a new avatar as a Music Composer. The songs composed by this debutante Music director will be released on February 14th, which happens to be the Valentine's day

Incidentally Isai is touted as a Musical Thriller whith S.J.Surya and new comer Savithri Playing the lead.

The film produced by Victor Raj Pandian also has veteran actor Satyaraj and Thambi Ramaiyah playing important roles.

It is worth remembering that Surya's last outing as a Director happened in 2010 with a Telugu film titled Puli with Pawan Kalyan playing the lead and Oscar winer A.R.Rahman was the composer. However the film failed to click with the audience.
