Ajith Veeram and Vijay’s Jilla have brought Chennai to a standstill yesterday. At all the theatres screening these two films in Chennai, Ajith and Vijay fans were seen on a celebratory mode.

Some major routes in Chennai, including Purasawalkam, Ashok Pillar, Ponamallee High Road, Royapuram and Mount Road witnessed unprecedented traffic jams and the police were in a frenzy to restore normalcy throughout the day.

Ajith and Vijay’s fans certainly did manage to celebrate their idols’ films as a festival and the crowds at most of the theatres were on a record high.
