‘Kochadaiiyaan’ turns red hot after audio launch
Superstar Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan directed by his daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin has turned red hot in the trade. The reason is the grand audio launch of the film last Sunday and the trailer released at the function.

Kochadaiiyaan trailer clocked an amazing 11,58,411 lakh views in less than two days on You Tube, creating a worldwide buzz around the film. Most of the fans of the superstar seemed to have liked the trailer, though some have been critical about it and dismissing it as a cartoon film.

Soundarya, in her welcome speech at the audio launch and later at the press conference harped on the fact that Kochadaiiyaan is India's first performance capture photorealistic film and not a cartoon movie. She stressed her point by showing an impressive making of the film and how performance capture was done.

This helped as Soundarya’s cool demure and reasoning in the face of criticism has gone down well with the trade and fans. Suddenly, the producers Mediaone Global Entertainment was flooded with offers from various trade people to do business on the film.

Murali Manohar one of the producers of Kochadaiiyaan says he is very happy with Soundarya's work and the way the film has shaped out. He says the film will be censored by March 20 and the promotions are in full swing for April second week release.

The business of selling territories has already kick-started, as they are targeting an April 11 release. Murali says external factors (Lok Sabha elections) will not stop them from releasing the film in April. The summer holidays is the best time to release Kochadaiiyaan, as the producers feel children and family audiences will lap up this Rajinikanth mass entertainer.
