Kamal’s Uthama Villain goes on floors today at Bangalore. The first look and teaser of the film have received tremendous response from the audience. Ramesh Aravind will be directing this film. Music score by Ghibran. The film’s cinematography will be handled by Shyam Dutt, while editing will be done by Vijai Sankar. Uthama Villain is produced by Lingusamy’s ‘Thirrupathi Brothers’.

Uthama Villain revolves around an ageing superstar’s life with the story and screenplay penned by Kamal himself. The film shooting is likely to be wrapped within three months. The latest update regarding the cast is that Parvathy Menon of Mariyaan fame has been roped in for a key role. Buzz is that Vishwaroopam girls Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah are also part of the cast. However an official announcement is expected soon.
