There were rumors in the tinsel town that stated few producers from Kannada film Industry have protested against Kamal Haasan's Uttama Villain hence filmmakers have shifted the shoots to Chennai from Bangalore.

Uttama Villain producer N. Subash Chandrabose has denied the reports affirming not to believe in such rumors he said, "Our team has shifted to Chennai after completing the shoot in Bangalore as per schedule. We will begin shooting in Chennai from tomorrow."

One of the leading actress of Uttama Villain Andrea tweeted, "After a Good Schedule of Uthama Villain with Kamal Haasan Sir and Actor Ramesh Aravind sir, Back to Chennai Now".

Ramesh Aravind is directing Uttama Villain that also casts Pooja Kumar, Urvashi, Jayaram, Parvathi Menon and others. Ghibran is the music director and veteran actress Gauthami is the costume designer in Thirupathi Brothers producing Uttama Villain.
