The Engaeyum Eppothum team of actor Jai and director Saravanan are teaming up for a new film, the shoot for which begins from this month. Says the director, “The genre of the film is action romance. While my previous film, Ivan Vera Mathiri, too belonged to this genre, it revolved around a social theme. This is a more personal film and is set in Chennai.”

While Saravanan says that he hasn’t finalized the actors to play the heroine and the villain roles, he has firmed up his technical team. After working with C Sathya in his first two films, he has now brought aboard D Imman to score the music for the film. And Soodhu Kavvum’s Dinesh Krishnan has been roped in as the cinematographer.
