For nearly two months it was being reported that former Miss World and actress Aishwarya Rai will be making her comeback in silver screen with a film to be directed by Mani Ratnam who introduced her in cinema. However the project has been put on hold as per sources. But fans need not be disappointed. Ash’s coming back to scorch the screens is certain.

Aishwarya Rai who had taken a long break from acting owing to her motherhood duties has decided to start acting since her daughter Aradhya who was born in November 2011 has started going to ‘play school’. The ‘Enthiran’ actress has signed a film titled as ‘Jazba’ to be produced and directed by Sanjay Gupta whose last film was ‘Shoot out at Wadala’ with John Abraham in the lead role.

Confirming the news in a recent interview, Sanjay has said that, Aishwarya will be playing an out and out action role in the film and she will be performing her own stunts without using a body double. The director has also revealed that Aishwarya is like the hero of the film but was quick to add that the film cannot be called a female centric one.

The Bachchan Bahu has already performed a few stunt scenes in ‘Dhoom 2′ in which she was paired up opposite Hrithik Roshan. However watching her in a full-fledged action role will be a new experience altogether.
