India Classic Arts, Bangalore and Masscom Productions, Coimbatore last month jointly announced the plan of the production of a biographical film based on the life sketch of J Jayalalithaa, the AIADMK Supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister in Tamil and English with a proposed title ‘Parivartan’ meaning ‘Transformation’ in the crowd funding model.

The project has now received funds from a foreign dignitary for a financial contribution of two million (INR 20 lakh). M Sasindran and family, who are great admirers of J Jayalalithaa have come forward to offer the contribution. Sasindran migrated to Papua New Guinea (PNG) almost 15 years ago and is now an elected Member of Parliament of PNG.
