Superstar Rajinikanth's magnum opus Kochadaiiyaan with Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Sarath Kumar, Aadhi, Nasser and others is confirmed to hit the theaters on 23rd May worldwide in as many theaters as possible.

Kochadaiiyaan was set to hit 4000+ screens in six regional languages on earlier slated release date May 9th, which would now be reduced due to other releases such as Akkineni's Manam, Godzilla and Xmen Days Of Future Past.

Though there is a couple of weeks delay in the release of the film, Kochadaiiyaan and its Telugu version Vikrama Simha [2D and 3D versions] releasing in 500+ screens overseas including USA [238 cnfirmed, 246 estimated], Uk [48], Malaysia [10], Switzerland [20] with subtitles.

ATMUS Entertainments to release Kochadaiiyaan in USA. "103 theaters [88 3D, 69 2D screens] confirmed for Kochadaiiyaan Tamil version in USA and waiting for 7 more all 3D. Vikramasimha in 58 theaters [43 3D and 38 2D]", they confirmed.

Kochadaiiyaan beats Vijay's Jilla record in UK by releasing in 48 screens whereas Jilla was released in 42 screens. Despite low pre-release buzz, Mayajaal in Chennai will have 100 shows per day in all the 16 screens. 150+ screens in Kerala.
