We had said it a long time back that Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Kaththi first look will be revealed on the star's birthday. AR Murgadoss the director of the film tweeted : "First Look of Kathi on Ilayathalapathy’s birthday June 22."

Kaththi is an action thriller written and directed by AR Murugadoss. The film features Vijay in a dual role with Samantha as the female lead, while Neil Nitin Mukesh debuts in Tamil cinema as the villain. The film's soundtrack and background score is being composed by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by George C.Wiliiams.

Kaththi is fast progressing and talkie portion will be over after the next schedule in June middle in Hyderabad. The film being produced by Ayngaran International along with Lyca Productions and is scheduled as a Deepavali release.
