History repeats itself, and after so many years Kamal Haasan and Gauthami are back on the big screen.

They set the screen sizzle with films like Nammavar, Apoorva Sahodargal, Thevar Magan and Kurithipunal and now they will be paired opposite each other in the Tamil remake of Malayalam hit Drishyam.

Gauthami will be making a comeback to big screen with this film. Kamal is currently busy wrapping up Uttama Villain and also busy with post production of Vishwaroopam2. After these two, he will be starting the Tamil remake of Drishyam remake by August.

While Kamal will do the role made memorable by Mohanlal, Gauthami will play his wife done in the original by Meena. The milieu will change from a Christian to a Hindu background and story will be set somewhere near Tirunelveli.

Jeetu Joseph who directed the original Malayalam movie will direct the Tamil version also. Asha Sharreth who did the important police officer role in Malayalam is the front-runner to do the same role in Tamil.
