There is a terrific buzz on Fox Star Studios and CV Kumar's Thirukumaran Entertainment produced Mundasupatti, releasing on June 13.

The film based on an award-winning short film, Mundasupatti is directed by debutant Ram Kumar.

It is a retro comedy set in the 80s, starring Vishnu and Nandita with music by Sean Roldan.

The trailer of the film rocked and got very good response on the social media.

Fox Star Studios innovative marketing, an interactive application has been created on the website, www.mymundasupattistyle.com that allowed visitors to create their own avatars of characters from Mundasupatti, went viral. It kindled a feeling of 80's amongst the viewers.

A special screening of Mundasupatti was arranged for distributors and exhibitors a few days back. They loved the movie and saw potential in it which has now turned out to be a craze as nearly 207 screens in Tamil Nadu are going to screen it, very high for a Vishnu film. The multiplexes have given Mundasupatti, its biggest screens and four shows, something which they have not done before for a small film

It is a smart move by CV Kumar and Fox Star Studios, as the pre-release expectation and buzz on the film is positive. This will ensure a very good three-day opening and then on its word-of-mouth.
