Aishwarya Dhanush and Anirudh made a sensational debut as the director-music composer combination in last year’s 3. Their collaboration “Why this Kolaveri” song became an international hit.

Currently Aishwarya is busy with her second directorial venture-Vai Raja Vai with Gautham Karthik, Priya Anand and Taapsee. Lot of eye brows were raised when Aishwarya announced Yuvan as the music director instead of Anirudh for VRV.

Now, Aishwarya has provided an explanation that since the expectations would be too high if she worked with Anirudh, she opted for Yuvan. She says Yuvan is also someone she knows from a young age and she has a good rapport with him.

Yuvan has composed 5 songs for VRV including one in Dhanush’s lyrics which was sung by Isaignani Ilaya Raja.
