Dhanush's VIP aka Velai Illa Pattathari that has made a huge business with theatrical and satellite rights in Tamil Nadu, is being approached by a Mumbai based producer and channel for Hindi dubbing and satellite rights.

As KollyInsider reported viewers earlier, P Madan of Escape Artists bought VIP distribution rights and sold way the individual regions to others for un-revealed amounts and SUN TV bags the television rights.

Cinematographer Velraj is making his directorial debut with VIP. Amala Paul is the heroine. Velai Illa Pattathari is expected to be a typical Dhanush's film with family drama, romance, comedy, punchlines, peppy music and action.
