Director Atlee who shot to fame with Arya-Nayanthara starrer Raja Rani got engaged to Priya a couple of weeks before. Now the talented, young actor has announced his wedding date.

The wedding ceremony of this couple is to be held on November 9th with the blessings of their family and friends. The two know each other for about 8 years and later fell in love.

The wedding is expected to be a grand affair with the presence of several Tamil film celebrities as well as TV personalities.

Atlee, who worked as assistant director to Shankar, debuted as a director with "Raja Rani." The film, starring Arya, Nayantara, Jai and Nazriya, received overwhelming response from the critics as well as from the audience alike. Atlee won accolades for the romantic entertainer that deals with marriage and relationships. The director won several awards including the Vijay Award for the best debut director.

Priya became popular with the television series "Kana Kaanum Kaalangal" aired on Vijay TV. She has also participated in the dance reality show Jodi No.1. The actress is also known for her portrayal of Anushka Shetty's sister in 2010-release "Singam."

In the mean time Atlee is all set to join hands with Vijay for his next venture.
