Gautham Menon teamed up with Silambarasan for a tentatively titled film 'Sattrendru Maarudhu Vaanilai' before few months.

But sooner, Gautham started working on his other film tentatively titled 'Thala 55' with Ajith Kumar, Anushka Shetty and Trisha in lead roles and the shooting of this film is progressing at brisk pace. Earlier, there were rumors that Gautham Menon was directing Simbu’s film and has been dropped as he is directing Thala 55.

The latest we heard that Gautham Menon will resume the shooting of Simbu’s project after Thala 55. As per reliable sources, Gautham Menon has invested Rs 8 Crores for Simbu’s movie and only 30 days are needed to complete the movie.

It is also heard that AR Rahman has given all the tunes for the film and the movie will be resumed after wrapping up Thala 55. The cinematographer of Simbu’s film and Thala 55 is Dan Macarthur.
