Last evening, the censor board film certification members happened to watch Karthi starrer ‘Madras’ and have passed ‘U/A’ certificate.

According to the inside reports, the film has some unruly dialogues with accordance to the backdrops of North Chennai and bloodshed with violence.

The film is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja and is directed by Attakathi Ranjith. Madras will now release on September 26. It stars Karthi and Catherine Tresa in the lead. The music of the film by Santhosh Narayanan, is already a chartbuster.

A lot is riding on Madras for it hero Karthi, who has been going through a bad phase, with a series of flops. Madras has to be a hit for Karthi, who is at the moment doing two other films.
