Director Selvaraghavan has cut off his ties with his wife’s film Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam.

Selva’s wife Gitanjali had recently announced that she would take a plunge into direction with the film Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam. There was a speculation that the film was the same one that Selva had shelved earlier.

The director took to his micro-blogging page to clarify on the same. He said, “”My wife @GitanjaliSelva s #maalainerathumayakkam has nothing to do with my earlier project starring dhanush. She loved that title so I gave it away.”
