UTV south announced the release of their next movie Sigaram Thodu starring Vikram Prabhu and Monal Gajjar for Sep 12th. This will be UTV's second release within a month after they released Anjaan on Aug 15th.

Thoonga Nagaram fame Gaurav Narayanan is the director. D Imman has composed music for the movie. Vijay Ulaganath is the DOP and Praveen has done the editing.

Sathyaraj plays an important role in the movie. Comedy actors Sathish and Kovai Sarala are also part of the cast. A good portion of the movie was shot in North India.

Incidentally, on September 12, the heroine Monal Gajjar's other movie – Vaanavarayan Vallavrayan is also releasing. For someone who is debuting in Tamil, it's really rare to see two movies of the same actor releasing on the same day.
