Vijay 58 is already shaping up to be one of the biggest movies in recent times, The budget of film has been estimated to be around 80-90 Crores.

Directed by Simbudevan, the film has a stellar cast in Sudeep, Sri Devi, Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani. Ilayathalapathy is rumored to play a dual role. Devi Sri Prasad will be scoring the music while Natty aka Nataraj will crank the camera. The film will be produced on a grand scale by P.T.Selvakumar and Shibu of Thameen films.

Actor Sudeep has been in Hyderabad for the last one week, shooting for his upcoming film with Vijay referred to as Vijay 58. Tipped to be a fantasy adventure, the actor is pretty kicked about the film. "Of course I'm not playing the hero, but it isn't exactly a typical bad guy role. It's a beautifully crafted role in this out-of-the-box fantasy format," he says, talking about his role.

Sudeep also called Sri Devi the female version of Amitabh Bachchan and said He is eagerly looking "What can I say about her? She's been around for so long and it's a privilege to get to share screen with a performer of her caliber. I had the good fortune of working with Amitabh Bachchan earlier, and Sridevi is the only actress who comes close to him."
