Actors Akkineni Nagarjuna and Karthi will soon join hands for the first time to work in a yet-untitled Tamil-Telugu film, to be directed by Vamsi Paidapally.

“Telugu star Nagarjuna and Karthi will be acting together in a new film that will be directed Vamsi Paidipally. This project is going to feature lavish production values,” read a statement from the production house PVP Cinema.

“This partnership is going to be a fantastic opportunity for PVP Cinema to bring two vast and mutually complementary film industries together,” the statement read further.

Interestingly, it's also the first time in recent few years when a top actor from Tamil film industry will be sharing screen space with another top star from Telugu cinema for a multi-starrer and sources say that it's going to be a one-of-its kind entertainer.

Paidipalli Vamsi, who has been working on the story for the last few months, has completed his work and the bound script is ready.

The details of the other cast and crew will be announced later. The film is likely to start next year around February.
