Sibiraj starrer ‘Naaigal Jaakirathai’ directed by Naanayam fame Shakti Rajan has been cleared with clean ‘U’ by the Censor Board.

The teaser of the film, which was released a little while ago was received well by the audiences and critics. The film went to the censors yesterday and received a U certificate by the Censor Board. Sibiraj through his Twitter account also stated that the film will hit the theatres soon.

Sibiraj tweeted, “Happy to announce that #NaaigalJaakirathai has been given a ‘U’ certificate by the Cbfc! Will announce release date soon!” Interestingly the main heron of the film is a real life hero – a trained military German Shepherd.

This film has music composed by Dharan. After a brief hiatus, actor Sibiraj is returning to the silver screen. The actor is donning the role of a cop in this film.

Presented by veteran actor Sathyaraj, the film is produced under the banner Nathambal Film Factory.
