Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s next to be directed by Chimbudevan, referred as ‘Vijay 58′, has been reported in the media to be titled as ‘Maarisan’.


There were many specualtions in the K-town about the title of Ilyathalapathy Vijay 58 film that is ready to hit the floors soon after the release of Kaththi.

Speculation around media buzz is that the movie is most probably titled as 'Mareesan'. While no one from the Vijay 58 unit is unavailable for comment, sources close to the team denied the reports.

But sources close the film have denied the same. While Vijay’s Kaththi, which is set for release this Diwali, the buzz on his next film has already started with the title.

Insiders also have it that the makers of Vijay 58 are tight lipped and the final title will be announced only after Diwali, once Kaththi is released.

Chimbudevan's Vijay 58 script is reported to be tailor-made to suit Vijay and makers are sure that the movie will satisfy his fans.

Yet-to-be-titled Vijay 58 will start shooting after Diwali in the sets erected in Kerala. Hansika, Shruthi Haasan, Sridevi, Sudeep, Prabhu will play the pivotal roles alongside Vijay in the movie.

Thameens and PT Selvakumar jointly producing Vijay starrer will have music by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Natraj, editing by Sreekar Prasad and art direction by T Muthuraj.
