Music for Dhanush’s next film 'Anegan' was released on Monday (November 10, 2014).

A simple function in AGS Cinemas in Chennai, the audio of Anegan was launched. The movie produced by AGS Entertainments is directed by K V Anand and has Dhanush, Ameyra and Karthik in lead roles.

Music is by Harris Jayaraj. At the event, Dhanush expressed his gratitude to Anand for the opportunity provided to him.

Veteran actor Karthik, K V Anand, music composer Harris Jayaraj, Ameyra and Ishwarya devan among others spoke on the occasion.

The album scored by Harris Jayaraj has already several songs trending on social networking sites. 'Danga Maari', a typical 'dappanguthu' style song became a popular mention in Twitter minutes after the release.
The film was originally offered to actor Vijay, who, while turning it down due to lack of time, suggested Dhanush’s name. Director K. V. Anand recently said, “I agreed with Vijay’s suggestion right away. After Kamal Haasan, I believe nobody has convincingly portrayed romance on screen apart from Dhanush. He has all the makings of a great actor: he can pan his eyes over the lens of the camera without ever being conscious of it. I have seen only Mohanlal do that.”

Anegan is all completed and the final copy would be ready in next couple of weeks, the crew informed.
