The shooting of the film which has Vijay in the lead role is taking place for the last one week at a set erected in ECR. Chimbudevan is directing the film. Hansika and Shruthi Haasan are the heroines of the film. Sridevi and Sudeep are donning important roles.

Hansika participated in the first day shooting. Later on Sridevi and Sudeep participated in the shooting. Shruthi Haasan who is another heroine of the film will be participating in the shooting with Vijay from today.

Shruthi Haasan made her debut in the film Ezham Arivu. After this she has acted in 3 and Poojai. Now for the first time she has joined hands with one of the Tamil leading actor Vijay. There is also news that Shruthi is making all efforts to pair with Ajith.

Shruthi while mentioning about acting in this film has said, "I have come to Chennai to act in a new Tamil film." It was surprising that she has not mentioned anything about Vijay or Sridevi who had paired with her father in numerous films.
