2014 has films rolling down and makers aren't willing to loose a single occassion for release. Hence, four noted films Arya-Hansika's Meaghamann, Vikram Prabhu-Sri Divya's Vellaikaara Durai, Vaibhav-Sonam Bajwa's Kappal and Prabhu Solomon directed Kayal are hitting screens on the Merry Christmas eve.
Leading film maker Bala has produced Prabhu Solomon's Kayal, a love story against Tsunami backdrop with D. Imman's music. Likewise, director Shankar is distributing Kappal introducing his former assistant Karthik G Krish as director.
At the same time director Ezhil's Vellaikaara Durai, a rom com in Village milieu and Magizh Thirumeni directed Meaghamann are associated with big production houses like Anbuchezhiyan of Gopuram Films and Nemichand Jhabak Company, respectively.
All the four Tamil movies have completed censors and ready for release. Kayal, rom com Kappal and rural rom com laced with Masala Vellaikaara Durai are certified with U, where as action packed adventure Meaghamann is awarded U/A by the board.
With leading financiers and Tamil stars ready to hit screens for year end festival, it is to be seen which film gets more theaters with highest screen count bearing Superstar Rajinikanth's Lingaa in its third week. Stay tuned....
