Dhanush's Anegan directed by KV Anand is all set to grace the big screens on 13th of February for Valentines Day weekend.

AGS Entertainments CEO, Archana Kalpathi has confirmed the Anegan release date in her official Twitter page.

"#Anegan will be hitting screens on Feb 13th . Get ready for a Valentine's Day treat from @anavenkat @dhanushkraja @AmyraDastur93", she posted.

Initially, the trade sources predicted that ‘Anegan’ would be joining ‘Shamitabh’ on February 6th, but the makers of ‘Anegan’ decided not to clash with the Hindi release of their hero.

The film's teaser, trailer and the songs have received positive response from everyone. It needs to be seen if its content will impress the audience and fare well at the box office.

"Anegan" is a romantic entertainer with Dhanush reportedly appearing in different looks. Newcomer Amyra Dastur plays the female lead opposite Dhanush, while other cast members including Karthik, Aishwarya Devan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Atul Kulkarni, Mukesh Tiwari and Thalaivasal Vijay are also part of the film's cast.

Harris Jayaraj has composed the songs, while cinematography is handled by Om Prakash and editing by Anthony. AGS Entertainment has produced the film, which is deemed as the costliest ever in Dhanush's film career so far.
