Arulnithi's 'Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum' clears censor with 'U'

Arulnithi’s upcoming film titled as Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum has been passed with an ‘U’ certification by the Regional Censor Board which watched the film recently.

Grandson of DMK supremo M. Karunanidhi, the lanky Arulnidhi debuted as hero in Tamil films with national award-winning director Pandiraj’s Vamsam in 2010. It was a moderate hit and Arulnidhi went on to star in some interesting projects including Mouna Guru and Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanikalum.

Directed by debutant director Srikrishna and produced by the duo of P. Arumugakumar and V.S. Rajkumar, Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum has Arulnidhi pairing up opposite Remya Nambeesan, star of hit films such as Kullanari Koottam and Pizza. Others in the cast include the likes of Signampuli, Bagavathi Perumal and Rajkumar. B.R. Rejin is the music director of the film.

Arulnidhi plays a cop in the film which has been awarded an ‘U’ certification by the Censor Board. The Unit of the film is obviously happy at getting the ‘universal’ certificate for the film which means that the film could be watched by the students and the old alike. Released some time back, the trailer of the film was met with a good response, making the producers contemplating releasing the film on Pongal.
