Karthi and Simbu are set for a box office clash next month if Vaalu team don’t postpone their film again. Yes, Komban and Vaalu are slated for the release on the same day i.e. on March 27th, 2015.

Earlier Komban was set to release on April 2nd but Studio Green, the production house of Komban has preponed the release by a week to March 27th as Udhayanidhi’s Stalin Nannbenda and Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain are releasing on April 2nd. The audio launch of Karthi’s film is expected to happen on 5th March. As per reports, Purampokku is also awaiting release during the first week of April and the official release date is yet to be announced by the team.

Komban is directed by Kutti Puli fame Muthaiah and stars Lakshmi Menon, Raj Kiran and Karthi in lead roles. GV Prakash Kumar composed the music while cinematography is handled by Velraj. Vaalu is directed by Vijayachander and produced by S S Chakravarthy’s NIC Arts. Hansika is paired opposite Simbu in this film. Santhanam and VTV Ganesh will be seen in supporting roles. S Thaman composed the music for this film.
