Lawrence's 'Muni 3: Ganga' undergoes title change

Raghava Lawrence's hugely successful 'Muni' franchise has been a revelation of sorts for the Tamil industry.

What started out as an honor-filled horror story had been successful enough to warrant an equally successful sequel. The third installment in the 'Muni' franchise Muni 3: Ganga will go for a name change.

The film has now been titled Kanchana 2. It is announced that it is getting ready to freeze the nerves and tickle our funny bones on 10 April.

Tapsee Pannu and Pooja Ramachandran are playing the female leads with 'Jangiri Madhumitha' of 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi' fame.

The film reunited Lawrence with veteran actor 'Kovai' Sarala who lit up the screen with an awesome performance in the previous movie 'Muni 2: Kanchana'. Devadarshini too is returning in this movie.

The close sources mention that the film is based on couple of journalists (played by Raghava Lawrence and Taapsee) involved in the paranormal investigation. Nithya Menen will be seen in a guest role in this ghost thriller. NT Bureau.

On an unexpected turn, when the ghost they’re precisely looking up haunts one of them, things get topsy-turvy. The post-production works are processed at full swing and Raghava Lawrence is planning to launch the audio in March.
