144 is the upcoming Tamil entertainer featuring Mirchi Shiva and Ashok Selvan of ‘Thegidi’ fame in the lead roles.

Following Vanakkam Chennai, Mirchi Shiva didn’t show up for a long time in Tamil cinema and now he has started working on 144.

The movie has launched today [Feb 9] in Madurai and the team started regular shooting after formal pooja.

Manikandan will direct this Michi Shiva starrer that casts Oviya and Kannada actress Shruthi Ramakrishnan as the female leads. Producers CV Kumar and Abinesh Elangovan have teamed up for the seventh time for 144.

Thirukumaran Entertainments Dream Factory and Abhi & Abhi Pictures jointly producing 144 crew includes, Sean Roldan of Vaayai Moodi Pesavum and Mundasupatti fame composing music with Gurudev handling cinematography and Leo John Paul on editing. The shooting has commenced today in Madurai and news has been officially confirmed by Abinesh Elangovan on his micro-blogging page.
