'Uthama Villain' release postponed to 10th April
Kamal Haasan’s Uthama Villain will release on April 10th instead of April 2nd, as announced earlier. The news has been confirmed by sources in the trade.

The re-recording of this magnum opus has been wrapped up and the filmmakers are working on the other details to wrap up the post production completely to meet the release deadline.

Uthama Villain was supposed to compete with Udhayanidhi Stalin and Nayanthara starrer Nanbenda with previously announced release date of April 2nd. With the new date, the movie is most likely to lock horns with Kanchana 2. The movie which was earlier mentioned as Muni 3 - Ganga, is written as well as directed by Lawrence and is the third part of the "Muni series".

Uthama Villain, starring Kamal Haasan in the lead role, has a bevy of stars sharing the screen space with him including Urvashi, Andreah Jeremiah, K Viswanath, Pooja Kumar, Nasser, Jayaram, MS Bhaskar and Parvathi Menon.

Ghibran has composed the tunes for this Ramesh Aravind directorial. Legendary filmmaker K Balachander will make a special appearance in the movie.
