Lyricist Na. Muthukumar on Tuesday said he would like to dedicate the best lyricist National Award for the Tamil song ...
This was his second award in a row. Last year, he pocked an award for his work in Tamil drama "Thangameengal".
"I'm very happy. The song is an ode to love and humanity. I dedicate it to the team of 'Saivam'," Muthukumar told.
The track was crooned by 10-year-old Uthara Unnikrishnan, who won the National award for best playback singer.
Heaping praise on the young talent, Muthukumar said she was a natural.
"Not everybody coming from a music family is talented. Uthara is a natural. She breathed life into the song with her voice. I'm happy that she was honoured too," he said.
Uthara is the daughter of popular southern musician Unnikrishnan.
