Ilayathalapathy Vijay has recently shot for his introduction song in his forthcoming Tamail socio-fantasy film Puli. Vijay's Puli intro song has been filmed in a costly set erected near Talakona.

Art director Muthuraj has designed Rs. 5 Cr worth village set for Vijay's intro in Puli, which also has 100's of dancers from all over India and important cast members shaking leg with Ilayathalapathy. Over 200 carpenters are said to have worked in the construction of the set.

“The lavish set that was erected to shoot Vijay’s introduction song costs over Rs.5 crore (Rs.50 million). The team recently completed shooting the song in Talakona forest near Tirupathi. Over 200 carpenters worked on the construction of the set, which took over two months to complete,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.

Trusted sources said that viewers are sure to enjoy a never seen before experience in theaters, while watching this special song.

Directed by Chimbudevan under SKT Studios banner, Puli has Hansika, Shruti Haasan, Sridevi, Sudeep, Prabhu and others in pivotal roles.

“Puli” is touted to be the most expensive film in actor Vijay’s career.

Meanwhile, it is reported that Vijay will be lending his voice for a 'gaana' song in his 59th film which will be directed by Atlee. GV Prakash, who earlier collaborated with Vijay for Thalaivaa will once again make Vijay to croon a song similar to that of 'Vaangana Vanakkangana' which became a favourite among fans.
