Aishwarya Dhanush’s long pending release ‘Vai Raja Vai’ produced by AGS Entertainment has been acquired by Studio Green K.E. Gnanavel Raja on Tamil Nadu theatrical rights.

The film will be hitting screens on May 1, which coincidentally happens to be the birthday of Ajith Kumar. The movie is earlier announced to release on April 24th. Already Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain and Vijay Sethupathi-Arya-Shaam starrer ‘Purampokku’ is getting released on the same date.

Meanwhile, Arun Vijay’s ‘Vaa Deal’ is also expected to plan up for its release either on this day or somewhere during the second week of May. ‘Vai Raja Vai’ starring Gautham Karthik, Priya Anand and Daniel Balaji in lead roles has Vivekh, Taapsee, Ethir Neechal Satish et al in important characters. Dhanush will be making a special appearance as Kokki Kumaru, a character borrowed from his yesteryear hit movie ‘Pudhupettai’.
