The shooting of Maari was wrapped up long ago and fans are waiting for the release date to be announced.
According to the latest update about this Dhanush starrer, music director Anirudh is busy giving the finishing touches to the album. Indeed he is... With the audio release date announced some days ago, it looks music director Anirudh is busy churning out the tunes and background music for Dhanush's upcoming film Maari.

The musician posted on his micro-blogging page,

Starring Dhanush and Kajal Agarwal, the film has been directed by Balaji Mohan. Playback singer Vijay Yesudas plays an important role in the film and Anirudh will be seen making a cameo appearance. Maari is due for release on July 17 and the audio launch is slated to happen on May 25th.
