Raghava Lawrence’s Kanchana 2 is a blockbuster hit! Yes, the two-week box office report says it all! According to sources in the trade, the film has grossed Rs. 51.5 crores during its two-week run in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka. Of this Rs. 51.5 crores, the producer’s share would amount to Rs. 27 crores.

Sreedhar Pillai announced the news on Twitter. He wrote, "#Kanchana2, Mega Blockbuster 2 Weeks Gross TN, Kerala & Karnataka = Rs 51.5 Cr , Producer Share = Rs 27 Cr approx."

The Telugu version of the movie, which released in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana last week, has been received well. The movie had collected ₹40 crore in first 10 days and it reportedly added ₹11+ crore in the next four days. With Kanchana 2 running successfully in AP & Telangana, the box office collection will spike up in coming days.

Directed by Raghava Lawrence, which also stars him as the main lead, Kanchana 2 has Taapsee playing the heroine. Kovai Sarala plays a pivotal role in Kanchana 2 as like its prequels and Nithya Menen is seen in an interesting cameo.
