'Aranmanai' is a Tamil Horror comedy film was a huge box office hit last year directed by Sundar C released in September 2014. It was well known that the director was planning for the sequel of the film.

The film was noted for its huge star cast, which included Sundar C himself along with Vinay Rai, Hansika Motwani, Andrea Jeremiah, Raai Laxmi, Santhanam, Nithin Sathya, Kovai Sarala, Manobala, Chithra Lakshmanan, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Saravanan.

Seems like the director doesn't have the plans to involve the same cast this time. Being called as 'Aranmanai 2' the directed roped in Siddharth and Trisha to play the lead characters. Not sure if Sundar C will be part of the cast.

Actress Khuboo, who is the producer of the movie, confirmed the news. She added that the movie will feature more stars and has asked everyone to wait for the official announcement from her production company.

Trisha and Siddharth are all set to team up for the third time. Siddharth, who earlier romanced Trisha in 'Aaytha Ezhuthu' and 'Unakkum Enakkum' original Telugu version 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana', will be teaming up for an upcoming Sundar C directorial.

Trisha is joining Sundar C for the first time and for Siddharth it is second with the director after his super hit Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru [TVSK].
