'36 Vayadhinile', the comeback film of Jyothika under Suriya's 2D Entertainment banner has got an official release date and is going to hit the screens on the 15th of May.

Suriya's 'Masss' which was announced to release on the same date has been tentatively pushed for a May 29th release. Insider news says, the obvious reason being Masss is also produced by Suriya's home banner 2D Entertainment in association with family banner Studio Green doesn't want to clash with '36 Vayadhinile' at the Box Office. But an industry analyst has given an altogether different reason for the postponement, saying "Masss" release has been postponed mainly because of the IPL matches. He says that the delayed release is mainly to ensure that Suriya's movie gets better theatre occupancy. It is heard from another sources that there is some delay in post-production works since it involves lots of computer generated works.

The audio release of "Masss" is happening on 8 May. The expectations over the songs composed by Yuvan Shankar Raj are very high.

’36 Vayadhinile’ is directed by Rosshan Andrrews, who remakes his own Malayalam super hit ‘How Old Are You’which was also Manju Warriers comeback film. Rahman and Abhirami play important supporting roles and the film is touted to be a tribute to womanhood.
