Finally Simbu’s father- T Rajendar has come to his rescue and acquired the theatrical rights from NIC arts. With Simbu’s dad T Rajendar acquiring the rights of this film, he is said to be in talks with the theatre owners to ensure it gets maximum screens.
Initially it was announced that 'Vaalu' will get release on May 15, but now Simbu's father TR announced that movie will release either May 22nd or June 12th. Looks like its good news for Simbu fans, finally.
‘Vaalu’ will be released in Tamilnadu under the banner of Chimbu Cine Arts. It has Simbu, Hansika and Santhanam in lead roles. ‘Vaalu’ also stars Santhanam, VTV Ganesh, Brahmanandam, Aditya, Manthra, Salim Ghouse, ‘Aadukalam’ Naren, Sri Ranjani and Misha Ghoshal. With too many films slated for release this month, which includes Suriya’s Masss, the Vaalu team is looking forward to release the film in June. However, there is no official word on it yet. Directed by Vijay Chander, the comic caper has Simbu and Hansika as the lead pair. Satellite rights of the film is acquired by Sun TV.
