Kamalinee Mukherjee returns to Kollywood with Karthik Subbaraj's 'Iraivi'

Southern actress Kamalinee Mukherjee has made a comeback to Tamil industry after six years in a crucial role in upcoming Tamil film "Iraivi", which is being directed by Karthik Subbaraj.

The actress, who was last seen in Kadhalna Summa Illa in 2009, will be one of the female leads in the film and the buzz is that she is paired opposite director-actor SJ Suryah, who plays a supporting role in the film and she has already shot for two weeks for the film.

"Yes, I'm part of 'Iraivi', but I can't divulge details about my role," Kamalinee told.

The makers have roped in Anjali for another lead role. When we contacted director Karthik Subbaraj, he confirmed that Kamalinee is part of Iravi, but refused to comment about her role or whether she is SJ Suryah's pair in the film.

The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha, Anjali and Karunakaran in important roles.
