Vijay TV is all set to launch the hunt for new set of singing talents through the next season of their singing reality franchise Super Singer Season 5 starting from today (June 1st 2015).

Super Singer Season 2015 on Vijay TV promises to be bigger than its past seasons. The initial episodes of Super Singer Season 5 would feature the audition phases of various zones and voice selections. Vijay TV is yet to announce the Chennai audition dates and the show is expected to gain momentum once it reaches the contesting stage after the completion of airing audition episodes.

Over period of time the singing reality format of Super Singer Junior and Senior put together has completed eight seasons and the singing reality show has become very famous among Tamil Audience.

Earlier, The ground level auditions for Super Singer Season 5 took place at Trichy town on 16th May and at Coimbatore town on 24th May 2015. In addition to that the channel also invited the voice recording CD of the contestants for the purpose of screening and selection, which was closed on 30th April 2015.

Popular singing personalities from the South Indian music industry and the popular faces of super singers’ various seasons were the Judges for the on ground preliminary auditions for this great show.

The winners of the first four seasons Nikhil Mathew, Ajeesh, Saicharan, Diwakar and many contestants of the show have become house-hold names across Tamilnadu and went on make big with singing as their career.

The winners and runners were also rewarded with Studio Apartments, Gold, Cars etc…

Popular playback singers Srinivas, Unnikrishnan and Sujatha would be the Judges for the Super Singer Season 5. Vijay TV is set to begin the show from today (1st June), which is scheduled for telecast on every Monday to Friday at 9.30 pm.

Vijay TV is also launching a fiction show today titled Rettai Vaal Kuruvi in its 9.00pm time band.
